Start with an exact order
Save the product link, variant, quantity and a reference photo. Add measurements for clothing and the model and accessories for electronics. Confirm the minimum order and price for your quantity. Include the destination country and city so you can compare the full cost of buying the item.
Separate purchasing from transport
Request separate amounts for the goods, domestic delivery, purchasing service, inspection, packing and international transport. Agree on what happens if the seller sends a wrong size or defective item before payment. Warehouse photos help check appearance; any functional test needs a separate agreement defining what will be tested.
Check the status of tax announcements
The Ukrainian customs announcement dated 30 July 2026 describes proposed online-shopping tax changes and an expected start no earlier than 2027. It does not establish how your parcel will be assessed. Check the rules and effective dates applicable to your shipment with the official source before dispatch [1].
Keep the documents and tracking chain
Retain the order, payment evidence, item descriptions and warehouse inventory. Ask how the Chinese tracking number connects to the international shipment and local delivery number. Confirm service to the exact address and which stages the transit estimate covers. Seller dispatch is a different milestone from the start of international transport.
