Build a parts schedule
A repair depends on the compatibility of each component. Start with a list of rooms or assemblies and the quantities required. This is an editorial request-preparation workflow, not confirmation of stock or a quotation.
- Specify material, finish, exact dimensions and units.
- For fasteners, include thread specifications; for seals, include the profile and length.
- Attach a drawing or installation photo without personal information.
Compare the same package of parts
One offer may include mounting hardware while another covers only the main component. Confirm whether the price is per piece, pair, metre or set. Do not approve a substitute solely because its photo looks similar.
- List everything included and the quantity in each pack.
- Ask the seller to confirm the sample’s critical measurements.
- Approve a sample before ordering a larger batch of parts where fit is critical.
Packaging can change the comparison
Request carton dimensions, weight and the number of packages for your batch. For fragile products, establish whether protective packing is included. Volumetric-weight rules depend on the carrier and route; the site’s parcel tool helps prepare the inputs.
- Compare goods, packaging, shipping and agreed services separately.
- Add applicable taxes and local delivery once the terms are established.
- Keep unknown amounts marked as awaiting a quote.
Plan deliveries around the repair stages
Record which parts are needed first and whether partial shipments are acceptable. Compare the expense of multiple deliveries with the consequences of waiting for the full batch. Dates are confirmed after stock and route checks.
- Include the destination city, preferred date and receiving contact.
- Agree carton labels that correspond to your parts schedule.
- Check dimensions and finish again before purchasing a later batch.
